Why we exist
The current options weren't built for us.
If you've ever shopped for a hardware-wallet case, you already know the landscape: novelty silicone sleeves on one end, and oversized industrial Pelican knock-offs on the other. Nothing in between. Nothing that looks like it belongs to someone who actually lives onchain.
CHAINWARE exists to fill that gap. One product line, designed from the ground up with the texture, weight, and detailing of serious EDC kit — not a stocking stuffer.
We didn't start from a moodboard. We started from the fact that a Ledger Nano S Plus doesn't survive a keychain, disappears the moment it gets dropped into a backpack, and has no way to be found if you lose it. The Vault Air is the answer to that.
And there's one more thing the obvious cases get wrong: a case plastered with Bitcoin logos announces that you're a crypto holder — which is the last thing you want a stranger to clock. The Vault Air reads as premium everyday carry, not a tell. For people who hold their own keys, blending in is part of the protection.

Every part of the Vault Air is engineered in our Canadian facility — from the carbon fibre surface texture to the AirTag click-out mechanism. No outsourced design.
Production
Small batches, hand-finished
We manufacture in small batches and finish each unit by hand. Premium materials, tight quality control, no overseas containers.
Replenishment
Days, not weeks
When demand spikes, restock is measured in production days. No 8-week wait for an ocean container — your order ships fresh.
What we care about
Three principles. Every release.

Premium materials only
Matte black. Carbon fibre surface texture. Laser-engraved details. If a finish would cheapen the product, it doesn't ship.

Small, sharp catalog
One product, done right, beats five products done passably. New SKUs only when there's a real reason for them to exist.

Honest about origin
Engineered and manufactured in Canada — by us. No "Designed in Toronto, Made in Shenzhen" sleight of hand.
